Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from LePew.
Xavier slaps away a takedown attempt from LePew, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Xavier.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Xavier in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
LePew can't do much from the bottom here.
Xavier throws a strike aimed at the side of LePew's head but LePew avoids it well.
LePew tries to get back to half guard but can't.

LePew is trying to control Xavier's posture but Xavier avoids it.
Xavier misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

LePew has hold of Xavier's hands but Xavier slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Xavier connects with a nice short shot to LePew's temple.
LePew makes his way to full guard. A much better position for LePew.
LePew is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Xavier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LePew on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now LePew is on top in guard.
Xavier throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Xavier is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. LePew is aware though and is defending well.
Xavier will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Xavier is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but LePew pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

LePew has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Xavier defend it? LePew steps over the head and cranks it - Xavier is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for LePew!
