The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jericho scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marcos doesn't seem bothered though.
Jericho throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Marcos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Marcos scores with the left hand. Jericho knows he should have avoided that one.
Jericho dips to his left and cracks Marcos with an uppercut!

Jericho has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Marcos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marcos ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Jericho's jaw. Jericho's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Marcos does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
