Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rogelio Baltazar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Argo Surtr!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baltazar takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A telegraphed right hand from Surtr misses the target.
Surtr throws a nice inside leg kick.
Surtr throws a chopping leg kick but Baltazar manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Baltazar takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A nice leg kick lands there from Surtr.
Baltazar is breathing heavily.
Baltazar tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baltazar has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Surtr.
Surtr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Baltazar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Baltazar has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Surtr.
Argo Surtr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baltazar steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Surtr. That one must have hurt.
Surtr scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Baltazar defending well as Surtr loads up on a big left hand.
Baltazar tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Surtr. That's going to slow Baltazar down.

Baltazar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Surtr scores with a spinning back kick!
Surtr throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Surtr.
Surtr throws a quick inside leg kick.
Baltazar steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Surtr. That one must have hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baltazar ducks under a wild hook from Surtr.
Surtr connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Rogelio Baltazar has been cut.
Good leg kick by Surtr there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Surtr lands a brutal head kick. Baltazar looks out on his feet and Surtr throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
