The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautista tries to close the distance and clinch but Ducati swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ducati circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bautista pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bautista fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ducati.
Ducati swats away the attempt to clinch by Bautista.
Sloppy strikes from Bautista. Those never looked like landing.
Bautista throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ducati closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bautista quickly recovers to half guard.
Ducati passes the guard and advances to mount!
Ducati tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Ducati breaks from Bautista's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bautista is working to get back to half guard.

Ducati swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
