Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Macadam Baird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keijo Keiko!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keiko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No joy there for Keiko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baird tries to bum rush Keiko with a series of wild strikes but Keiko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Baird closes the distance and clinches up with Keiko, looking for a takedown. Baird pushes Keiko against the cage but Keiko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Baird throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Keiko tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Baird is in Keiko's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Keiko can do anything to dispel that myth.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Baird accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Baird postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Baird won't allow Keiko to get back to his feet.
Keiko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Baird sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Keiko's guard.

Baird winds up and cracks Keiko with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Baird uses his free foot to push down on Keiko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Keiko.
Baird throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Baird lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Baird cracks Keiko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Keiko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baird. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Baird! Keiko is hurt baaadly! Baird is firing away with more strikes - Keiko is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
