Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angelo Villar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lotfi Sariahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Villar comes to the cage accompanied by Kamao. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sariahmed doesn't manage to clinch there - Villar circles away.
Sariahmed lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Villar falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sariahmed counters with a two punch combo.
Villar shoots in but no luck this time.
Villar misses with a combination
and Sariahmed counters with a good, hard body kick but Villar shrugs it off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Villar is defended easily by Sariahmed.
Villar tries to clinch but Sariahmed is having none of it.
Villar doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Sariahmed counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Angelo Villar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sariahmed trying to control but Villar is working from the bottom.

Sariahmed might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Villar kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Villar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Villar tries to get out of the position.
Villar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sariahmed on the ground.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lotfi Sariahmed wasn't active enough on the ground.
Villar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sariahmed counters with a big head kick but Villar shrugs it off.
Sariahmed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Villar pinned against the cage. Villar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sariahmed rushes Villar and presses him up against the cage.

Sariahmed successfully pulls guard.
Villar thows a big elbow that misses.
Sariahmed is trying to keep Villar in close.
Sariahmed working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Villar.
Sariahmed doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Villar chips away with some ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sariahmed is on top in guard.
Sariahmed wants to control from the top but Villar keeps moving.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sariahmed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Villar is adopting a defensive guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sariahmed wants to stand but Villar has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Angelo Villar has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Villar stuffs the takedown.
Sariahmed is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Villar moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
