Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between LA Guti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Bakunin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bakunin has chosen Russian Nathional Anthem as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakunin with a nice cross.
Guti blocks a leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bakunin.
Guti ducks right into an uppercut from Bakunin.
Bakunin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Bakunin darts in and clinches Guti up against the cage.
Guti is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bakunin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bakunin lands an uppercut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bakunin takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Guti gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bakunin wants to get back to his feet.

Guti is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

You get the feeling that Bakunin really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Bakunin is trying desperately to improve position.

Guti is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bakunin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Guti is breathing heavily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bakunin wants to get back to his feet.

Guti has control of Bakunin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bakunin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bakunin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bakunin tries to buck Guti off but he can't manage it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bakunin can do anything to dispel that myth.
