The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gutierrez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gracie won't allow Gutierrez to get back to his feet.
Gracie advances position into side control!
Gutierrez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie advances to mount.
Gracie cracks Gutierrez with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gracie drops a big elbow. That's hurt Gutierrez! More shots from Gracie and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
