PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grizzly Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Dominator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bear comes to the ring accompanied by Grizzly Song. Dominator is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Donination. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominator is looking to clinch.
Dominator throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Dominator gets the takedown into side control.
Bear is not content to let Dominator control the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bear throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Dominator takes a little break here. Bear wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Bear manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Dominator wants to get back to full guard.
Bear really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bear is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dominator is looking to control Bear's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dominator avoid being mounted?

Dominator is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bear's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bear's back!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dominator has eaten all the pies!
Bear is breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dominator tries to keep control of the position but Bear is staying busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by The Dominator.

Dominator throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bear tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dominator is in Bear's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Dominator shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bear's guard.

Dominator is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bear is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bear jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dominator walks away with a smile on his face. Bear gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dominator tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bear swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dominator shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bear napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bear is trying to control Dominator's posture but Dominator avoids it.
Bear is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dominator's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dominator throws an elbow but Bear slips to the side and avoids it well.

Dominator has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Dominator tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Bear manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bear throws a head kick that Dominator semi-blocks.

Dominator is trying to drag Bear to the mat but Bear just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Well Dominator has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
