Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Orange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Orange moves into range and clinches up with Silva.
Orange prevents the takedown attempt.

Silva tightens his grip and picks Orange up, before dumping him to the ground. Orange manages to land in guard.

Orange is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Orange has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Orange had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Orange Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead.
Silva is in bad spot here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orange doesn't have the hooks in and Silva manages to turn into his guard.

Silva drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Silva seems to have locked his on tight now - Orange screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Silva, as he picks up the win!
