Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunter Kicurasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kicurasz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stemm - Face the Pain. Gomez has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gomez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kicurasz wants to stand but Gomez is controlling the position.
Gomez scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Kicurasz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gomez defends well.
Kicurasz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gomez is controlling him.

Kicurasz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gomez manages to get himself to full guard.

Gomez drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Gomez seems to have locked his on tight now - Kicurasz screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gomez, as he picks up the win!
