PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teppi Tarinashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that George Hust was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Teppi Tarinashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, George Hust!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarinashi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tarinashi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hust in his tracks.
Hust fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tarinashi is out of range.
Hust throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tarinashi fails with the takedown
and Hust cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tarinashi throws a nice looking combination but Hust bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tarinashi connects with a crisp jab.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hust lands a two punch combo.
Tarinashi tries to move into range but Hust moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Tarinashi counters with a nice uppercut.
Tarinashi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tarinashi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Husts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Tarinashi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Tarinashi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hust defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hust is looking to stand up but Tarinashi won't let him.
Hust must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tarinashi is trying to control the position but Hust postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tarinashi manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Hust keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hust thuds his right hand into Tarinashi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like George Hust has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hust is rocked!
Tarinashi stays in close to Hust's body and controls the position.
Tarinashi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Tarinashi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tarinashi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Hust has hold of Tarinashi's hands but Tarinashi slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
