Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryder has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Jacob Ryder has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryder sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ryder looks gassed!
Silva lands with a kick to the temple. Ryder shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Silva misses with a double jab.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ryder moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Silva.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ryder takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Silva thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ryder if he has to take too many more of those.

Silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Ryder takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Ryder has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Silva.
Silva lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ryder takes a step back to recover.
Silva pushes Ryder away with a front kick.
Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Silva lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ryder. That did some damage!
Silva lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ryder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Ryder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Ryder changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ryder is putting a hurting on Silva here, landing some big shots from side control.
Ryder in side control lands a decent elbow.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Silva gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Silva passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ryder!

Silva is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Ryder is tapping out! This one is all over!
