The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boombatz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Soprano to the mat! Soprano manages to get full guard.

Boombatz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Soprano is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Boombatz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Soprano's back instead.

Boombatz is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Soprano knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Soprano for a finish.

Boombatz closes the distance looking for a takedown. Soprano stuffs it but Boombatz still has hold of him. Boombatz picks Soprano up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Boombatz slams Soprano to the floor and that's really hurt Soprano - he doesn't know where he is! Boombatz throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
