Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Edward Ludczynsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wasili Linden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasili Linden struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ludczynsky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Linden, pushing him back against the cage.

Ludczynsky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ludczynsky closes the distance and pushes Linden back into the cage.
Ludczynsky tries to land a knee to the head but Linden blocks with his arms.
Linden drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ludczynsky tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Linden's elbow.
Ludczynsky wants a takedown.

Linden has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ludczynsky is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Linden postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ludczynsky is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Linden, into his guard.

Ludczynsky has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Linden is proving hard to escape from.

Linden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ludczynsky sprawls well. Ludczynsky wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Linden gets slowly back to his feet.

Ludczynsky feints and as Linden raises his hands in defense, Ludczynsky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Linden drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ludczynsky dives on top into guard.

Ludczynsky decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Linden, up you get!

Ludczynsky closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ludczynsky using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Linden has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ludczynsky drags the fight down to the ground.

Linden drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ludczynsky manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Linden has Ludczynsky in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Linden is working an open guard so Ludczynsky takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Linden doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Ludczynsky counters with a nice double leg into side control. Linden won't be happy with that.

Ludczynsky decides to stand back up. Ludczynsky steps back and let's Linden get back to his feet.

Ludczynsky will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Linden up against the cage.

Ludczynsky has hold of one of Linden's legs. Linden is fighting the takedown attempt but Ludczynsky gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Linden wants to stand up but Ludczynsky is controlling him.

Linden scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Ludczynsky shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ludczynsky was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ludczynsky can't control as he wanted to and Linden manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Ludczynsky stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Linden is squirming around, avoiding Ludczynsky's attempts to control the action.
Wasili Linden has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
