The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Perkules stalls.
Carwin can't find room to land a body shot as Perkules controls the action.
Carwin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Perkules has him pressed against the cage.
Perkules has Carwin pushed against the cage.
Carwin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Carwin tries to score a body lock takedown but Perkules shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Perkules lands an elbow that stopped Carwin in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Casey Carwin has been cut.
Carwin dodges an elbow strike from Perkules.

Perkules lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Carwin backwards.
Carwin softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Perkules stalls.
Perkules tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Carwin avoids it.
Perkules looking to throw knees to the head but Carwin is blocking nicely.

Oh Carwin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Clinched against the cage, Perkules lands a big elbow that drops Carwin! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Carwin is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
