Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Bisley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amalric Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bisley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. Fitzgerald has chosen Sinergy - Spit on your grave as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisley throws a lazy right hand but Fitzgerald sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fitzgerald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bisley manages to avoid it.
Garrett Bisley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice jab there from Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald misses with an uppercut. Bisley saw that one coming.
Bisley lands the left hand.
Fitzgerald scores with a jab. Bisley acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Fitzgerald throws a looping overhand right but Bisley ducks down to avoid it.
Bisley moves out of range of the strikes.
Bisley walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Fitzgerald tests Bisley's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fitzgerald jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fitzgerald takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fitzgerald defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bisley.
Fitzgerald stuffs the takedown attempt from Bisley. Bisley gets slowly back to his feet.

Fitzgerald swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bisley closes the distance and clinches up with Fitzgerald, looking for a takedown. Bisley pushes Fitzgerald against the cage but Fitzgerald circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Garrett Bisley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fitzgerald stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fitzgerald wants it to stay on the feet.
Fitzgerald ducks under a wild hook from Bisley.
Fitzgerald throws a jab when Bisley was well out of range.
Fitzgerald jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fitzgerald ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fitzgerald paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bisley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fitzgerald swivels and escapes.

Fitzgerald takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bisley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bisley throws the left hand but Fitzgerald avoids the punch easily.

Fitzgerald shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bisley is squirming around, avoiding Fitzgerald's attempts to control the action.

Fitzgerald throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bisley works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Fitzgerald is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bisley!
Fitzgerald controlling the pace for now.

Fitzgerald jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bisley is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bisley and Fitzgerald has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bisley is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fitzgerald is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Fitzgerald is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bisley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Fitzgerald tries for a kimura but Bisley is defending well.

Fitzgerald has an Americana. Bisley didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Fitzgerald is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Fitzgerald hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
