Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King scores a takedown into full mount!
Jayar is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

King is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jayar has managed to escape the submission attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jayar wants to hold on but King pushes him away.
King looking to control but Jayar is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

King wants to control the action but instead Jayar gets a body lock and reverses into King's guard! Nice work!
King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jayar wants to get up but he can't break King's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
King lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jayar!

King tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

King shoots in looking for a takedown. Jayar tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jayar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
King takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
King avoids the attempt from Jayar to control.
Jayar is trying desperately to improve position.
Jayar is squirming around, avoiding King's attempts to control the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King content just to control the position here.

King looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Jayar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

and King counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jayar's guard now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jayar is looking to stand up but King isn't so interested in that idea.
Jayar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
King tries to free his leg and advance position but Jayar is retaining full guard.

King thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jayar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jayar stands and steps away. King gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

King wants to get back to his feet but Jayar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for King, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
