Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hank Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Rancid-Last one to Die as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Davis fails to pull guard.

Wood breaks the clinch.

Wood closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Davis to the mat! Davis manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wood puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Davis gets back to full guard.

Davis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wood can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Davis pushes a forearm under Wood's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wood is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
