Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruiner Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnett comes to the cage accompanied by canceled forever. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a looping overhand right but Barnett ducks down to avoid it.
Santos fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Barnett is out of range.
Barnett slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Santos lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Santos blocks a head kick by Barnett.
Santos throws a looping overhand right but Barnett ducks down to avoid it.
Barnett lands a nice leg kick that just misses Santos's sensitive parts.
Barnett misses with an attempted mid kick.

Santos tries to land a body kick
and Barnett counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Santos looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Santos punishes Barnett's body with a nice straight punch.
Santos avoids the head kick by Barnett.
Santos lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Barnett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barnett tries a head kick but it misses.
Barnett throws a sloppy head kick and Santos moves out of range easily.
Santos wants to clinch up but Barnett keeps it at a distance.
Barnett has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Santos.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Santos is looking to clinch.
Santos misses with a low kick.

Santos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barnett quickly recovers to half guard.
Well, if Santos is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Barnett wants to improve his position but Santos is controlling well.

Santos is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Santos wants to pass the guard but Barnett is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Santos stays in close to Barnett's body and controls the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Santos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Barnett is keeping the position for now.
Barnett can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Santos controls the pace.
Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barnett swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ruiner Barnett will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Santos tries to clinch but Barnett moves out of range.
Barnett throws the left hand but Santos avoids the punch easily.
Barnett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Barnett displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Santos throws out the jab.

Santos throws a leg kick but Barnett sees it coming and moves out of range.
Santos takes a swing at Barnett's ribcage but misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Barnett.

It looks like Ricardo Santos has been cut.
Some bone on bone action there as Barnett checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Santos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barnett is fending him off so far but Santos persists. Nope, Barnett circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ricardo Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Barnett motions for Santos to come forward. Barnett throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Santos takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Santos misses with a hook to the body
and Barnett counters with a big head kick but Santos shrugs it off.
Santos throws a hook but Barnett blocks it.
Santos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Santos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barnett manages to avoid it.

Santos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Santos wants to control but Barnett is keeping him busy.
You can see the frustration on Barnett's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Santos is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Barnett's shoulder. That is not cool.

Santos is looking to take a break and control but Barnett is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Santos sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Barnett is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Ricardo Santos has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Santos swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Crunch! Barnett slams his shin into Santos's torso.
Barnett throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Santos on the side of the head.
Santos is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Barnett rather than just go for the knockout.
Barnett steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Santos.
Barnett swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Santos.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Barnett.
Santos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Barnett counters with a thumping low kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ruiner Barnett showed his dominance in that final round.
