Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sota Koira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Koira does no damage.
Koira scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A nice leg kick lands there from Koira.
Manhoef throws a head kick but Koira moves out of range.
Koira keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Manhoef missing with a left hand there. Koira was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

It looks like Melvin Manhoef has been cut.

Koira pushes off an throws an elbow but Manhoef leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

Manhoef blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Koira lands a nice hook to Manhoef's body. Manhoef takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Manhoef ducks right into an uppercut from Koira.
Melvin Manhoef's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Manhoef takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Koira fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Manhoef looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Koira is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Manhoef can do to turn this around?

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Melvin Manhoef's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
