And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Javier Calle!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calle shoots in but no luck this time.
Bear lands with a kick to the temple. Calle shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bear throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bear throws a front kick that sends Calle stumbling back into the cage.
Calle takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bear scores with a push kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Calle.
Bear lands a head kick. Calle smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bear.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bear scores with a head kick.
Calle shoots in for a takedown but Bear shows good takedown defense.
Bear misses with a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Calle.
Teddy Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Javier Calle.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bear is looking to slow Calle down with leg kicks.
Calle takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bear throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Teddy Bear is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bear scores with a spinning back kick!
Bear throws a push kick but Calle slaps the foot to one side.
Calle on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Calle takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bear's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


A kick lands to the mid section there for Bear.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Calle is defended easily by Bear.
Calle should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bear throws a nice inside leg kick.

Bear delivers a nice body kick.
Bear looks to land a body kick but Calle moved away.
Nice body kick there by Bear.
Calle is breathing heavily.

Bear throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Calle's head.
A solid body kick from Bear.
Bear throws a nice looking combination but Calle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bear is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Calle can do to turn this around?
Calle has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bear.

Jab, jab by Bear - just one landing.
Calle takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Calle moves out of range of the strikes.

Calle throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bear sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Calle blocks a head kick by Bear.
Bear slaps away a takedown attempt from Calle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bear tries to bum rush Calle with a series of wild strikes but Calle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Teddy Bear dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Calle walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bear.
Bear throws a head kick that misses.
Bear goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bear dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Calle. That did some damage!
Teddy Bear is winning the standup battle so far.

Bear fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bear throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Calle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bear sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Calle somewhat.
Calle has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Bear.
Calle looks for a takedown but Bear sprawls well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bear defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Calle.
Teddy Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Javier Calle.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice sprawl there from Bear as Calle shoots in.
Bear darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Calle avoids a kick to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Calle shoots in for a takedown but Bear shows good takedown defense.

Bear lands with a kick to the ribs.

And that's the end of the fight!
Teddy Bear showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bear has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
