Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pablo Escobar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Styyman!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styyman lands a high kick!


It looks like Pablo Escobar has been cut.
Escobar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Styyman looks for the body kick but Escobar saw that one coming.
Escobar slips a jab from Styyman.

Styyman rushes Escobar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Escobar lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Styyman backwards.

Styyman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Escobar pulls his leg out and moves away.

Styyman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Styyman is pressed up against the cage. Escobar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Styyman down to the mat. Styyman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Escobar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Styyman was covering up waiting for the punch and Escobar finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pablo Escobar.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Escobar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
