Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kegan Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ert Lopus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williamson comes into the arena with Can't be touched blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Kegan Williamson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopus tries to clinch but Williamson moves out of range.

and Williamson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Williamson is taking a breather. Lopus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Williamson stands up and beckons Lopus to join him on the feet.
Lopus tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Williamson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Williamson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Williamson wants to stand but Lopus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Williamson won't allow Lopus to get back to his feet.

Williamson stands and throws Lopus's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lopus is looking to get back to his feet here but Williamson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Lopus's back.
Williamson controlling the position well here. Lopus rolled but Williamson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lopus looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Williamson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lopus's body.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

and Lopus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Williamson throws a nice looking combination but Lopus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lopus throws a series of strikes that have Williamson backpedaling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Lopus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Williamson throws a series of strikes that have Lopus backpedaling.
Lopus is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Williamson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Williamson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lopus's head.

Lopus forces Williamson back against the ropes and clinches.

Williamson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Williamson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lopus fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Williamson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Williamson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


That has opened up Ert Lopus's cut even more.

Williamson waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Lopus. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Lopus to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Williamson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Williamson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lopus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Williamson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lopus to get to his feet.
Lopus tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Williamson counters with a stiff right hand.
Lopus misses with a hook
and Williamson counters with a two punch combo.


The cut above Ert Lopus's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Williamson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lopus pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ert Lopus's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Lopus lands with a slapping head kick.
Lopus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ert Lopus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kegan Williamson!
