McSlaughter jr comes to the cage accompanied by goodnite sweetheart. Crews has chosen Born on the FM Waves - Against Me as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike McSlaughter jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dario Crews!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Crews.
Crews fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McSlaughter jr on the side of the head.
McSlaughter jr misses with a wild combination.
A jab from Crews misses.
A big left from McSlaughter jr misses.
McSlaughter jr stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
McSlaughter jr scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McSlaughter jr bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

McSlaughter jr instigates a clinch.

McSlaughter jr breaks from the clinch.
Crews moves out of range of the strikes.
A leg kick checked by Crews.
Crews fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McSlaughter jr manages to avoid it.
McSlaughter jr needs to keep his hands up - Crews had a free shot at his head there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McSlaughter jr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Crews throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crews steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McSlaughter jr.
McSlaughter jr shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Crews eats them both and turns towards McSlaughter jr to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Crews misses the jab.

McSlaughter jr closes the distance and clinches.
McSlaughter jr lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Crews backwards.
McSlaughter jr looking for a takedown.
Crews tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Crews jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McSlaughter jr walks away with a smile on his face. Crews gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McSlaughter jr has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike McSlaughter jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McSlaughter jr ducks right into an uppercut from Crews.


It looks like Mike McSlaughter jr has been cut.
McSlaughter jr cracks Crews with a right hand to the side of the head.

McSlaughter jr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crews, pushing him back against the cage.
Crews gets underhooks to prevent McSlaughter jr's takedown attempt.

McSlaughter jr gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
McSlaughter jr is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crews wants to sweep here but McSlaughter jr controlling him for the moment.

Crews is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! McSlaughter jr rolls with it to try and escape but Crews cranks on the arm and McSlaughter jr is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
