Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dante Auditore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nonito donaire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

donaire throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Auditore was covering up waiting for the punch and donaire finishes the takedown easily into guard.
donaire pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Auditore is keeping the position for now.
donaire in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Auditore pulls donaire in close to prevent any damage.

donaire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Auditore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Auditore tries to clinch but donaire moves out of range.
Auditore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and donaire counters by clinching up.
Auditore is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
donaire has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Auditore is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Auditore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

donaire has momentary wrist control but Auditore slips an elbow through the middle.

Auditore throwing strikes from guard but donaire blocks nicely.
donaire not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
donaire is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

donaire is trying to control the action in half guard but Auditore is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Auditore regains full guard. Nicely done.
Auditore wants to sweep but no luck.
Auditore manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. donaire manages to get himself to full guard.

Auditore decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on donaire, up you get!

donaire is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Auditore's half guard.
donaire seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Auditore is staying active underneath donaire, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

donaire fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Auditore sprawls well initially but donaire persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Auditore is looking to control donaire's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Auditore avoid being mounted?

donaire stands up and beckons Auditore to join him on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Auditore changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. donaire looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

An elbow from Auditore crashes against the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
donaire manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Auditore is thwarting donaire's attempts to control the position.
donaire is trying to get back to full guard.

Auditore is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! donaire is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
