Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wells Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bimbo Lice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dengel's entrance music is "Backlash" by Front Line Assembly. A fine choice. Lice comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sepultura - Refuse/Resist kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bimbo Lice!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lice circles away from the clinch attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dengel.

Lice gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dengel throwing strikes but missing.
Dengel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lice can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dengel with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dengel trying to control the position from guard on top but Lice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dengel throws and elbow that misses. Lice uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dengel's guard. Nice move by Lice!

Lice wants to control from the top but Dengel keeps moving.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dengel holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lice is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dengel throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dengel tries to clinch up.
Lice leaves Dengel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lice avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lice swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Dengel dives in and grabs Lice's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lice pushes down on Dengel's head and hops out.

Dengel tries to clinch there but Lice circles away.

Dengel jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lice is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lice and Dengel has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Dengel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dengel tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dengel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dengel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Lice makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Dengel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Dengel takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Dengel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lice as he jumps to the side.

Lice throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Dengel is rocked!

It looks like Wells Dengel has been cut.

Lice clinches up against the cage.
Dengel pushes off an throws an elbow but Lice leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A body shot lands from Lice.
Lice presses Dengel against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
With the fighters up against the cage, Dengel throws an elbow but misses.
Dengel misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lice.
Lice lands a shoulder strike.
Oh Dengel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lice lands a body punch in the clinch.
Dengel throws an elbow that misses.
Lice pushes Dengel back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Dengel comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Dengel landing some nice looking knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lice is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dengel tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lice avoids it.
A left hand lands to the body for Lice.

Bimbo Lice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lice tries a head kick but it misses.
Dengel misses with a takedown attempt - Lice sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dengel has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dengel shoots in looking for a takedown but Lice manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dengel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dengel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lice swivels and escapes.
Dengel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lice.

Lice does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lice lands a leg kick that knocks Dengel off balance momentarily.
Dengel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dengel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Dengel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lice manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dengel motions for Lice to come forward. Dengel throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Lice counters with a body kick that stops Dengel in his tracks momentarily.
Dengel shoots in but no luck this time.
Lice tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lice tries to clinch up but Dengel circles away and keeps his distance.
Dengel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dengel somewhat.

Lice wants to sweep here but Dengel controlling him for the moment.
Dengel connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lice avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Bimbo Lice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lice has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
