The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagqvimunssen lands with a slapping head kick.
Sagqvimunssen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sagqvimunssen throws a head kick that Baryshavik semi-blocks.

Sagqvimunssen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sagqvimunssen feints and then cracks Baryshavik's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Baryshavik down.

Ejdur Manviq Sagqvimunssen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vasily Baryshavik.

Baryshavik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sagqvimunssen tries to avoid it but Baryshavik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sagqvimunssen to the ground. Sagqvimunssen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sagqvimunssen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sagqvimunssen stalks Baryshavik and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Baryshavik's face. Baryshavik staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Vasily Baryshavik has been cut.

Sagqvimunssen doesn't manage to clinch there - Baryshavik circles away.

Sagqvimunssen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Baryshavik tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Baryshavik has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Baryshavik is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sagqvimunssen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sagqvimunssen takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Baryshavik lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sagqvimunssen down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
