Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janek Grzmot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson missing with a left hand there. Grzmot was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Grzmot fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Grzmot as he avoids it easily.
The crowd cheers as Grzmot lands an impressive looking overhand right. Johnson doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Dave Johnson has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Johnson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Grzmot to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Grzmot trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Grzmot drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grzmot jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grzmot is keen to just control but Johnson is a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grzmot has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Johnson defend it? Grzmot steps over the head and cranks it - Johnson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Grzmot!
