Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maimuta Prunea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, William Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Maimuta Prunea!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harrison tries to keep at a distance but Prunea has taken the fight into the clinch.

Prunea successfully pulls guard.
Prunea can't keep his opponent in guard - Harrison advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Harrison is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Prunea doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harrison.
Harrison working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Prunea's thigh. Prunea counters though and makes it back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prunea is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Harrison is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
No luck for Harrison with that takedown attempt.

Harrison wants to clinch.

Harrison looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Prunea!

Prunea working to try and regain half guard.
Prunea really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harrison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Harrison throwing strikes here but Prunea is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
You get the feeling that Prunea really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Harrison will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Harrison fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Prunea takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Prunea defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Harrison.

Harrison changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Prunea looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Prunea is trying to escape the position but Harrison is controlling the position.

You can see the frustration on Prunea's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Harrison has control of an arm but Prunea manages to advance to Harrison's back!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Harrison rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Harrison gets back to full guard.
Harrison keeping moving, preventing Prunea from controlling successfully.

Harrison had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Prunea defends it easily.
Harrison is controlling Prunea's posture.

Harrison lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Prunea!
Prunea really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Prunea tries to hold on but Harrison postures up.

Harrison lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Prunea is looking to improve his position but Harrison isn't that keen on the idea.

Harrison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Prunea looks to clinch

and Harrison counters with a takedown into side control.
Prunea wants to control but Harrison postures up.
Harrison trying to control the action but Prunea is working from the bottom.
Prunea is trying to get back to half guard.
Harrison wants to control but Prunea is keeping him busy.
Prunea is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Harrison off and has taken his back!
Prunea struggling to keep hold of the position.
Harrison manages to reverse the position and now he's in Prunea's guard. Nice work there by Harrison.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Prunea working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harrison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harrison manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Harrison drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Harrison as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Prunea screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Harrison! Nice submission victory there!
