Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between miguel angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zelg Galesic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galesic misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

angel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

angel is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
angel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
angel trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

angel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Galesic's head.

angel decides to return to a standing position.
angel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Galesic swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Galesic goes for an armbar but angel turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from angel.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Galesic had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. angel defends it easily.

Galesic has his foot on angel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. angel works his way back into a safe position though.

angel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Galesic drops down looking for an ankle pick but angel pulls his leg out and moves away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Galesic enables angel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Galesic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
angel has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Galesic is proving hard to escape from.

angel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

angel jumps guard and drags Galesic to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Galesic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

angel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

angel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Galesic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

angel decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Galesic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. angel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Galesic is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Galesic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but angel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
