The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karvaranne fails in his attempt to clinch.

rampage stuffs the takedown.

jari rampage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tauno Karvaranne.
Karvaranne tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but rampage swivels and escapes.
rampage fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Karvaranne on the side of the head.

It looks like Tauno Karvaranne has been cut.
Karvaranne shoots in looking for a takedown. rampage tries to sprawl out of it but Karvaranne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. rampage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
rampage misses with a hook. Karvaranne ducked under it nicely.
rampage lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

rampage lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
rampage connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Karvaranne momentarily.
Karvaranne is trying desperately to land a takedown but rampage is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Karvaranne.
Karvaranne looks gassed!

Tauno Karvaranne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
rampage lands an overhand right.
rampage feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Karvaranne crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
