Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Brugnolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juanito Estavan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Juanito Estavan!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brugnolo forces Estavan back against the ropes and clinches.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Estavan looks to land a combination. Brugnolo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Brugnolo feints and then cracks Estavan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Estavan down.
Brugnolo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Juanito Estavan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brugnolo wants to get back to his feet but Estavan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Estavan is pushing down on Brugnolo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brugnolo is fighting to maintain full guard but Estavan has managed to sneak the leg through.

Brugnolo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Estavan's head.

Brugnolo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

and Brugnolo counters with a good low kick that Estavan was not able to check.
Brugnolo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Brugnolo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Estavan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Estavan pushes Brugnolo off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Estavan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brugnolo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Estavan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brugnolo's back instead.
