Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big john (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hong Choy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). john comes into the arena with Jimmy Dean - Big John blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choy wants to clinch.
john avoids the body shot from Choy.
Choy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
john looks to land a right hand but Choy moved out of range.
john waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Choy.
Choy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Choy shoots in for a takedown but john shows good takedown defense.
Big john has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hong Choy.
john bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Choy tries to bench press john off him but john keeps the position.
john slows the pace down.
john landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Choy is looking to reverse the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
john cracks Choy with a big right hand but Choy just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Choy takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
john crunches a massive hammerfist down on Choy - he's out! john Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
