Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands with a nice body punch.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Kongo.
Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kongo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat.
Kongo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kongo takes a swing at Jackson's ribcage but misses.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Kongo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kongo tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.
Kongo tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kongo as he avoids it easily.
Mark Kongo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Jackson.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kongo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kongo is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Some wild striking there from Kongo.
Jackson shoots in but no luck this time.

Jackson has managed to clinch.
Jackson lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jackson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kongo smiles and moves away.
Kongo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jackson is looking to clinch but Kongo is avoiding it.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Kongo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kongo stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Kongo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kongo clinches.
Kongo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jackson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kongo smiles and moves away.

Kongo has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Kongo holds him up against the ropes and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.
Kongo presses Jackson against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kongo is looking to break free of the clinch but Jackson has double underhooks.
Jackson scores with a shoulder strike.
Kongo lands a nice uppercut.
Kongo lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Jackson breaks from the clinch.
Jackson slips a jab and a cross from Kongo.
Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kongo closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Kongo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jackson. Kongo shrugs it off though.
Kongo darts in trying to clinch

and Jackson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Jackson blocks an uppercut.
Jackson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jackson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Jackson ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kongo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kongo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kongo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kongo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jackson has tightened it up now! Kongo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
