Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cal Haron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Asdington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cal Haron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, George Asdington!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haron stuffs the takedown attempt from Asdington. Asdington gets slowly back to his feet.

Asdington shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Haron is trying to defend but Asdington finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Haron wants to improve his position but Asdington is controlling well.
Haron on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Haron tries to get out of the position.

Asdington looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Asdington is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Haron still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Haron has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haron has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Asdington content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Asdington drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Asdington jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Asdington has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Haron is proving hard to escape from.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Asdington drops back looking for a leg! Haron is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Haron manages to kick Asdington off! Asdington jumps back into Haron's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Haron has picked Asdington up - he's going for a ride! Haron dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Haron misses with a head shot. Asdington uses the momentum to regain guard.

Asdington looking for subs off his back but Haron has passed one foot through into half guard.

Haron works his foot free and advances to mount.
The referee warns Asdington that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Asdington showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Haron controls Asdington momentarily but Asdington frees himself.

Haron pulls Asdington in close to prevent any damage.
Asdington has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Haron is proving hard to escape from.
Haron will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Asdington decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Haron, up you get!

and Haron decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Asdington's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haron wants to control from the top but Asdington keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
