Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Patrick Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Harris might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bleed It Out. Neil Patrick Harris has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dux tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Harris manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dux tries to clinch up but Harris circles away and keeps his distance.

Harris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Harris is looking for a kimura but Dux is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Harris to get the leverage.

Harris is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Dux as he works his way to full guard.

Harris is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dux is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dux has escaped and now he's on top!

Harris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dux can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

so Harris counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Harris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dux has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harris has managed to get both his arms back between Dux's legs - danger averted.

Harris drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dux dives on top into guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dux swings for the body but Harris moves out of range.

Dux jumps guard but Harris stands there with Dux around his waist. Dux gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Harris is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Harris has his foot on Dux's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dux works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well Harris has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
