The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Lang does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lang jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ollie Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lang looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Lang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Smith throws a solid leg kick but Lang takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Smith.

Lang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lang goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Lang counters with a nice uppercut.
Lang misses with a head kick.
Lang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lang fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
