Royce comes to the cage accompanied by eye of the tiger. Ricardo Murico Royce has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royce wants to clinch up but Nowak keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nowak looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Royce shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nowak's guard.
Nowak has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nowak is on top in guard.
Royce looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nowak is one step ahead there.
Nowak stands and throws Royce's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nowak tries to score with some ground and pound. Royce controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Nowak in side control, throwing shots but Royce defends.
Royce gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Royce blocking the ground and pound.
The referee warns Royce that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Nowak working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Royce turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Nowak off and cradles Royce's limp body as Nowak celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Przemyslaw Nowak!
