Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zapp Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brannigan comes to the cage accompanied by Jackyl -- The Lumberjack. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws an off balance right hand

and Brannigan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in King's guard now.
Brannigan sitting in guard, not really doing much.
King is looking to stand up but Brannigan isn't so interested in that idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brannigan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Zapp Brannigan wasn't doing enough on the ground.
King throws a right hand that misses

and Brannigan counters with a single leg into guard. King didn't expect that.
Brannigan won't allow King to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brannigan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. King is keeping the position for now.
King wants to get back to his feet but Brannigan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

King manages to escape and get back to his feet.
King wants to clinch but Brannigan slips to the side

and Brannigan counters with a nice double leg into side control. King won't be happy with that.

King throws Brannigan to one side and escapes!
King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
King misses with a lunging right hand
and Brannigan counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Brian King has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Brannigan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
King needs to keep his hands up - Brannigan had a free shot at his head there.

King is rocked!
King swings widly with a right hand
and Brannigan counters with a huge right that knocks King out cold! Brannigan is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
