Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wiley Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dallas Bond!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alpha works the jab nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Alpha.
Bond looks to land a right hand but Alpha moved out of range.
Alpha walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bond keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bond misses the body punch
and Alpha counters with a head kick.
Alpha misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bond.
Bond tries to clinch up but Alpha circles away and keeps his distance.
Bond misses with a hook to the body
and Alpha counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice defenses there by Bond.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bond. Alpha does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alpha throws a poor cross that misses
and Bond counters with a left to the body.

Alpha throws the left hand but Bond avoids the punch easily.
Bond tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Alpha counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Bond takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Alpha missing with a left hand there. Bond was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bond takes a swing at Alpha's ribcage but misses.
Bond is looking to clinch.
The fighters circling - Bond throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bond doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Alpha jabs Bond to the body, keeping him at a distance.

and Bond takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Alpha throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bond throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Bond fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Alpha fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bond throws a lazy uppercut
and Alpha counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bond doesn't manage to clinch there - Alpha circles away.
Alpha misses the jab.
Bond misses with a left hand
and Alpha connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Dallas Bond has been cut.
Nice shot lands for Alpha.
Alpha just misses with a punch to the body.

Bond misses with a right hand
and Alpha counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bond's knee momentarily.
Good exchange - Alpha coming out on top.
Bond throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Alpha counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Alpha digs a good hook to Bond's body.
Bond jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Alpha ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alpha swings widly with a right hand
and Bond counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Alpha thinking.
Bond lands a jab.
Alpha catches Bond with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Alpha ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bond looks to score with a jab to the body but Alpha is just out of range.
Bond avoids the head kick by Alpha.
Alpha fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bond looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Alpha lands with a nice body punch.
Bond throws a poor cross that misses
and Alpha counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Alpha throws a lazy uppercut
letting Bond counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Alpha keeps the fight on the outside.

and Bond counters with a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wiley Alpha dominated that round.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Alpha scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Alpha throws a leg kick that is checked
and Bond counters with a stiff right hand.
Bond misses with a left hand
and Alpha counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A cross from Bond lands.
Bond lands a high kick!
Alpha does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bond blocks a jab.
Alpha looks to score with a jab to the body but Bond is just out of range.
Bond rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alpha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bond misses with an uppercut
and Alpha counters with a leg kick.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Bond in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Alpha lands a nice shot that snaps Bond's head back.
Alpha misses with an uppercut
and Bond makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bond scoring well with a low kick there.
A jab from Alpha misses.
Bond tries to clinch but Alpha moves out of range.
Alpha punishes Bond's body with a nice straight punch.
Alpha loads up on a big right hand but Bond slips the punch.
Alpha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bond was well out of range. Poor timing from Alpha.
Alpha walks into a left hand.

Alpha is rocked!
Alpha tries to get into range but Bond steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Alpha! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Bond scores the big KO victory!
