The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier shoots in but no luck this time.
Silva throws a head kick but Xavier moves out of range.
Silva misses with a head kick.

Xavier shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Xavier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva throws a nice looking combination but Xavier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Silva lands a left and a right that send Xavier crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
