Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rainn Hewitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Faint - Linkin Park. Royce Gracie has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hewitt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hewitt throws a half hearted mid kick.
Gracie avoids the head kick by Hewitt.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hewitt as he jumps to the side.
Hewitt tries a head kick but it misses.
Hewitt throws a body kick that misses.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hewitt misses with a head kick.
Hewitt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hewitt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.

Hewitt tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.

Gracie dives in and grabs Hewitt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hewitt pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Gracie blocks a low kick nicely.
Hewitt misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming.
Hewitt looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hewitt tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hewitt has managed to free his arm - good work.

Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Hewitt's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hewitt.
Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hewitt has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Gracie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hewitt is surviving well by controlling Gracie's body position as best he can.
Hewitt tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.

Gracie working for a submission but Hewitt is keeping him at bay.
Gracie with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gracie wants to control but Hewitt is keeping him busy.
Hewitt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hewitt tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.

Gracie is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hewitt is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
