PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bertrand Escher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zelg Galesic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Escher throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Galesic was covering up waiting for the punch and Escher finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Galesic looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Escher is in close to Galesic's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Escher drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Escher jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Escher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Galesic on the ground.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Escher looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Galesic can't hide his disappointment, as Escher celebrates the victory.
