Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hiho Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Barreto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hiho Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matheus Barreto!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Barreto.
Silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Barreto defends it nicely.
Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Hiho Silva has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hiho Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barreto but Barreto pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Silva steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Barreto. That one must have hurt.
Silva takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Barreto lands a head kick. Silva smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Silva is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice body kick there by Barreto.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Barreto sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Barreto which made him look bad.
Silva seems to have got his legs back now.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Barreto lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Barreto takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hiho Silva's cut is getting worse.
Barreto lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Silva crumples to the floor! Barreto milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
