Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Berkovicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berkovicz comes to the cage accompanied by The Undertaker Song. Tomasz Adamek is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berkovicz throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Adamek is trying hard to land a takedown here. Berkovicz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Adamek lands with a nice body punch.
Mike Berkovicz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berkovicz swats away the attempt to clinch by Adamek.

Adamek moves into the clinch.
Adamek is trying to drag Berkovicz to the mat but Berkovicz just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Adamek's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Berkovicz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Adamek.

Adamek throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Berkovicz was covering up waiting for the punch and Adamek finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Adamek throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adamek trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Adamek is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Adamek's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Adamek postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Adamek engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tomasz Adamek hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Berkovicz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Berkovicz wants it to stay on the feet.
Mike Berkovicz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomasz Adamek.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Adamek scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Adamek happy to just control the position for now.

Adamek has an Americana. Berkovicz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Adamek is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Adamek hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
