Steve van der Slam has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tolga Kalabery!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van der Slam defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kalabery.
Kalabery shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as van der Slam sprawls well. van der Slam wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kalabery gets slowly back to his feet.
Kalabery steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from van der Slam. That one must have hurt.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kalabery has eaten all the pies!
Kalabery shoots for a takedown but van der Slam saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Steve van der Slam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tolga Kalabery.
Kalabery will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
van der Slam connects with a solid leg kick.
Kalabery looks gassed!
Kalabery closes this distance looking for a takedown but van der Slam circles away.

van der Slam fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kalabery, pushing him back against the cage.

van der Slam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

van der Slam gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kalabery fails to pull guard.

van der Slam breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
van der Slam lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

van der Slam lands a knee to the head.

Kalabery is rocked!

It looks like Tolga Kalabery has been cut.
van der Slam has Kalabery pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Kalabery is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from van der Slam - that's hurt Kalabery badly! Oh, another knee lands and Kalabery is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Kalabery doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Steve van der Slam!
