Sanders IV closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanders IV takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Sanders IV is working for a kimura but Ranger is defending it quite comfortably.

Sanders IV is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ranger is just riding it out for now. Sanders IV eventually gives up the hold.

Ranger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanders IV as he jumps to the side.

Sanders IV quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ranger has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
