The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from McOut.
Franco lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Franco.
Franco throws a lazy right hand but McOut sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McOut throws a leg kick that misses.
Franco connects with a nice looking jab.
McOut shoots in for a takedown but Franco shows good takedown defense.
McOut takes one on the button.

It looks like Tappy McOut has been cut.
Franco is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McOut uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Franco.
Franco lands with a cross.
McOut shoots for a takedown but Franco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Franco rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McOut moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Franco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McOut slips a jab and a cross from Franco.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McOut crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Franco - the referee stops the clock and McOut gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Franco. McOut manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Franco throws a shot from downtown. McOut moves away and avoids it.

McOut throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McOut.

Franco tries a head kick but it misses.
Franco checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
McOut shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Franco pinned against the cage. Franco gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice uppercut lands for Franco. That snapped McOut's head back.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for McOut. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
