PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Wuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Textmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wuzz comes into the arena with Lützenkirchen - German Kiss blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Wuzz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, Justin Textmark!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Textmark shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wuzz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Textmark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Textmark has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wuzz is looking to stand up but Textmark isn't so interested in that idea.

Textmark is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Textmark enables Wuzz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Textmark manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wuzz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Textmark has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wuzz but great work by Textmark.
